Trip to Penang

it happened on the first day of the year 2010 where i have packed all my things for an adventure.... haha it sounds like an adventure to Zombieland or Land of the Lost.. bt actually the place is what i named as HEAVEN, its Penang. so before i start, i would like to introduce my family tree fom penang. initially my maternal origin is from penang, the Ng family. so basically i have seven aunties and two uncles. i respect all of them not because they are just capable and have a stable career, it is because they are loving, caring, responsible as well as generous. so in the Ng family, i am the youngest and one of the naughtiest grandson. my grandma once said that i have unlimited supply of teardrops, which means i like to cry for no reasons. sounds irritating right? but that was when i was small. now at least i am 18, i know when i should cry. haha.  first of all i have to say that i miss penang so much, more than anyone does. i didnt have the chance to visit penang since september 2009. so basically i went to penang with my mum and sister as my sister is going back to college. anyway we had a smooth journey to penang as the road was not congested. upon our arrival, guess what was our first thought? it was to fill our stomach ^^ muahahahahaha... guess what? in penang, i eat 5 times per day and that includes breakfast, lunch, tea time, dinner and supper. so it is undeniable that i have put on weight. in penang, i had the opportunity to shop till i dropped.... my eyes were as red as those blood-hound's eyes... we went to Tesco on the first day after we had a satisfying dinner at a restaurant located in Sungai Dua. the first day was a bit quiet but i was completely overjoyed.... know y? i have finally bought Taylor swift's album..... her songs were awesome... no wonder she was nominated as entertainer of the year. the second day was more interesting and lively. first and foremost, we took our breakfast at the Bayan lepas market. however, i only managed to eat a plate of Char Koay Teow.... i was a bit disappointed because when i was small, i was able to scavenge at least 3 bowls of noodles including wan tan mee, chee cheong fun, and Hokkien mee.. perhaps now i grew old already... haha time to retire or maybe i have Carbohydrate intolerance..... so after that we continued our journey to Sunshine Square, a famous shopping centre.. we bought many things there but most of the items consist of edible materials... so there is nothing to talk about... then in the afternoon, we drove to Kompleks Bukit Jambul to meet our relatives there... my aunt was looking for the Body Glove shop and Scholl shoes. for me, i didnt buy a single item there.... so after that we took our lunch and went home to get some sleep as there were other programmes that night, which i have yearned for so long... guess what? its Queensbay mall. haha ...... the main objective for me to go to that fantastic shopping complex was to repair my Crocs shoe which has torn a bit... n of course, i managed to buy another one, which was around RM189 if i was not mistaken... thanks to my mum i love you so much ^^. there, we managed to meet our cousins and my favourite uncle. my little cousin sister has invited me for a movie there, its Alvin and the Chipmunks 2.... so what was my reply? its a yes for sure.... bt since it is already late, we postponed the movie the next day. i was so excited..... hahaha after we had left Queensbay, we went for supper at a chinese coffee shop.... i ate a piece of pau as i didnt feel like eating..... i was overloaded with food and i looked more like a ballast tank in the submarine..... huh..... so the sun arised from the horizon and a new day has arrived. its sunday already but i felt like i had just arrived... there were not many special events.... that evening my cousin sister and i watched Alvin and the chipmunks 2 and it was hillarious. i almost finished the whole bucket of popcorns half an hour after the movie started. perhaps eating is the best way to release tension in the cinema... haha after the movie we went for  dinner and honestly, i have eaten curry for more than 4 days and my pimples were popping out, like volcano eruption... haha just exaggerating. so after dinner, we made up our minds to have some desserts,,,, finally i had the chance to eat tang yuen.... hehehe, inside the tang yuen there were peanuts, yummm, so tasty... thanks to my uncle who was so generous and caring,  treating me like his own son ... so in future if they come to Perak my family and i will take them go KAI KAI and jalan-jalan.... so that was my holiday trip to penang.... when we were back to ipoh, we took McDonalds haha it seems like i am leading an unhealthy lifestyle.... i have put on 3 kg so now i am 58kg.... huh... so thats all for now and once again, i would like to express my gratitude to all my cousins, uncles and aunties from penang. u r the ones who have given me support, encouragemant, motivation, love and concern, and i will always remember all of u... and do take care and be happy always no matter what happens... there are ups and downs in life, but i strongly believe that every cloud has a silver lining. its great having such family members and relatives. thank you
